Allthough my interest in art started at a very young age. I got my training from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and work shops from Frank Webb and Bill Viscak. Frank Webb turned my head toward the love of watercolor, because of a demonstration he gave a number of years ago, at this very group. I must thank the Beaver Art Group and Joan Bobochak for keeping me active.
My painting style is basicly realistic, but I am seeing more of how light and color reflect onto objects. This painting, one of my last paintings received awards in Scotsdale and Phoenix Arizona. The title is Australian Sheep Shack. I now reside in Chandler, Arizona with my wife, daughter and grandson.
I must thank the members of the Beaver Valley Artists for making me an honorary lifetime member. They are a group of talented artists, who do a lot for the valley and I miss the group very much.
